2021 Art Souterrain Festival in Montreal is now accepting submissions!
Are you interested in taking part of the Art Souterrain Festival in Montreal during 2021? In this period of confinement, are you buzzing with ideas on the theme of time?
I am happy to share that I’ll be one of the guest Curators for 2021 Art Souterrain and urge artists of all disciplines, both locally and internationally, to consider how their work can live in public spaces in the next year.
Every year, the Art Souterrain Festival choses a meaningful theme able to challenge their visitors, echo current international events and inspire artists. In 2021, the theme of “Time” has been chosen.

Art Souterrain is an ambitious and dynamic non-profit organization. Since 2009, the mandate has been to disseminate contemporary art to a wide audience.
In an attempt to demystify contemporary art, through annual events, the organization aims to empower the viewer and build meaningful connections between the artwork and its public. To achieve its goal, Art Souterrain commits to exhibiting artworks outside of the art institution context in order to meet the individuals directly.
By establishing itself in unconventional locations, Art Souterrain wishes to surprise their viewers in their daily lives and therefore initiate an unprecedented cultural interaction.
